Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Comp My Card (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated at compmycard.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Comp My Card is a sports card pricing tool that retrieves publicly available sold listing data from eBay's API to help collectors research card values and compare prices. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc. Sold price data is sourced from public eBay listings and may not reflect current market conditions.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@compmycard.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may not create accounts using automated means or under false pretenses.

3. Free and Premium Plans

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Premium tier. Features available on each tier are described on the Pricing page and are subject to change.

Premium subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service or its APIs beyond normal use without prior written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to it.
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Circumvent any rate limiting, authentication, or security measures.
• Reproduce, resell, or redistribute data obtained from the Service commercially without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice.

5. Data Accuracy

Pricing data is sourced from publicly available eBay sold listings and is provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Prices shown do not constitute financial or investment advice. Always conduct your own due diligence before buying or selling sports cards.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content (excluding eBay data), is owned by or licensed to Comp My Card. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership of our intellectual property.

Content you submit (such as saved search names) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to store and display it as part of the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including eBay, Google, Stripe, and Loops. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMP MY CARD AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@compmycard.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
